We offer a hybrid drumming workshop using both Latin Samba and African Rhythms. The session begins with a few comfort building exercises to help everyone feel at ease with their drum. We then spend some time teaching technique to enable the group to voice themselves through their hands and the rhythms we teach. From here we will run grooves where everyone gets chance to solo and lead their team. The workshop will climax with a finale performance bringing together everything we have learned.
It only takes a few minutes for each individual to relax into the rhythm and feel that they are making a valuable contribution to the group.
There are strong metaphors between your team as a drum orchestra and your organisation. The drumming workshop will emphasize non-verbal communication and leadership through rhythm and bring in basic manners of conversation on an innate, primeval level.
