Drumming Performance for Cadbury's TV Advert

December saw us drumming at the famous Alexandra Palace, London, filming our unique beats for the re-launch of Cadbury's Wispa bar. We were selected by Cadbury's to perform amongst other artists from a range of creative fields.

Having learned the piece in just 3 days we were ready to film!

A busy morning saw the whole advert coordinated and rehearsed before an afternoon shoot. We were then wisked off to the portable recording studio where we recorded our massive drum sound for the ad's audio.

The first screening of the TV advert was on December 20th @ 20:10 on ITV. We will be posting footage from the day on our site www.basstoneslap.com shortly.

BassToneSlap to perform for the Cadbury's Wispa re-launch TV advert!

The last two weeks have seen some great progress for us as performers. As you might have guessed from the headline we have been head hunted by Cadbury's to be the official drummers on their latest TV advert, re-launching the publicly demand Cadbury's Wispa.

"It's very exciting to be part of this advert for so many reasons. The days filming will see people from a mosaic of creative backgrounds coming together to pledge their passion and skill. The performance is scheduled to be filmed at the famous Alexandra Palace in North London, and the budget for the TV advert is being donated to Children in Need..."

We'd like to send an early thank you to the beautifully efficient and expert team at Exposure who have already delivered nationwide media coverage. And, the great Fallon for their work bringing this together.

The premier of the advert was be at 20:10 on the 20th December 2008 on ITV, watch out hairy gorilla, here comes BassToneSlap...
